New Product Launch for the Semiconductor Market
Tecteon PLC (www.tecteon.com), the software developer specialising in voice
quality and comfort listening technologies and algorithms, announces a new
"ultra-low-delay" product that is aimed at the semiconductor manufacturers of
audio-related DSPs (digital signal processing) and ICs (integrated circuits).
The new product is an ultra-low-delay and ultra-low-footprint adaptive noise
canceller (uANC) which introduces less than 4ms delay in the audio path.
The uANC is a "blind" noise canceller that requires no tuning, and is
capable of detecting and cancelling any type of background noise. The uANC
has been extensively tested subjectively and objectively by our expert listener
and shown to perform exceptionally well, achieving up to 22dB noise reduction.
This module is specifically aimed at manufacturers of Application-Specific
Integrated Circuits (ASICs) wishing to imbed noise cancelling functionalities as
hardware-assist on any voice-related devices for Telephony, GSM, TETRA, DECT,
Bluetooth and hearing aid markets.
