MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said its
rating and outlook for database marketing company infoUSA Inc, rated 'BB' with a
stable outlook, are not affected by the company's announcement regarding an
informal investigation by the Denver Regional Office of the Securities and
Exchange Commission.
The regional office is requesting voluntary production of documents
regarding related party transactions, expense reimbursement, other corporate
expenditures, and certain trading in the Omaha-based infoUSA's securities.
S&P said if the SEC escalates the investigation to a formal status or there
are meaningful developments in the Delaware lawsuit, it would assess their
impact on its rating and outlook for the company.
