10 percent from the sale of each “rave green” will be
donated to Seattle Sounders FC’s RAVE Foundation, dedicated to
investing in communities by building small fields in urban settings
for free play, removing barriers to participation, and supporting
and creating innovative programming through soccer. glassybaby
first partnered with RAVE Foundation in December 2016, donating
over $12,000 to the organization.
“RAVE Foundation is thrilled to partner with glassybaby on the
release of ‘rave green’ — the first-ever Seattle Sounders FC-themed
glassybaby. Sounders fans know ‘Rave Green’ as the Club’s signature
color — so how appropriate to design and name the first glassybaby
after ‘Rave,’” said Ashley Fosberg, Executive Director for RAVE
Foundation. “Proceeds benefit Sounders FC’s official charity, RAVE
Foundation — which uses soccer as a vehicle to empower, inspire and
strengthen communities throughout the Puget Sound. This partnership
provides critical support to our most vulnerable communities and
families.”
‘rave green’ can be purchased at all Seattle Sounders Pro Shops
as well as online at glassybaby.com or at any of the
glassybaby stores in the Seattle area, including
Madrona, University Village and Bellevue.
“We’re elated to be partnering with Sounders’ RAVE Foundation
long-term so we can continue to support their efforts in making a
positive impact in the lives of our state’s youth,” said Lee
Rhodes, glassybaby founder. “The mission of the RAVE Foundation and
their work with underserved youth is perfectly in line with our
giving philosophy of helping people, animals and the planet
heal.”
