Delta Connection to Begin Service between Knoxville, TN and Orlando, FL Delta Connection carrier Chautauqua Airlines to offer nonstop roundtrip jet service twice daily

ATLANTA, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Customers soon will have better access to one of the most popular leisure destinations in Delta Air Lines' (NYSE:DAL) system with new Delta Connection service between Knoxville, TN and Orlando, FL. Delta Connection carrier Chautauqua Airlines plans to operate two daily nonstop roundtrips beginning Dec. 1 with 50-seat Embraer Regional Jet aircraft.

"Orlando is one of our most popular destinations, and we constantly seek to serve our customers better by providing more convenient access," said Joe Esposito, director-Domestic Network Analysis. "Delta Connection's new jet service between Knoxville and Orlando is designed to offer the convenient nonstop service our customers prefer."

The new service between Knoxville and Orlando effective December 1, 2004 will be:

Knoxville to Orlando Service Flight Departure Arrival Equipment 6240 7:50 a.m. 9:30 a.m. ERJ 6241 3:35 p.m. 5:15 p.m. ERJ

Orlando to Knoxville Service Flight Departure Arrival Equipment 6241 12:55 p.m. 2:35 p.m. ERJ 6242* 8:30 p.m. 9:10 p.m. ERJ * Begins Nov. 30.

Delta Connection carriers include Delta's wholly owned subsidiaries Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair. Additional regional carriers include Atlantic Coast Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and SkyWest Airlines, and codeshare partner American Eagle (in California).
