NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - ZymoGenetics Inc. Tuesday said the Food and
Drug Administration approved a prior approval supplement application for a
larger version of its Recothrom product.
The new version is a 20,000 international unit vial. A 5,000 international
unit vial size was previously approved.
Recothrom is a recombinant throbin, used as a plasma-free thrombin
alternative for surgical hemostasis.
Shares of SymoGenetics closed Friday at $8.90. The stock is down about 44%
over the past 52 weeks.
