LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Zotefoams PLC said it has signed an agreement
with packaging and component products maker UFP Technologies Inc to work
together in targeting the market for high performance insulation systems.
The foam technologist said UFP has created an advanced insulation system
called T-Tubes, using Zotefoams' ZOTEK F fluoropolymer foams, for stainless
steel process lines in clean environments.
These insulation systems are designed to meet the exacting standards
required in clean process environments in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical,
semiconductor and nuclear industries, it said.
UFP will market and develop T-Tubes in North America while Zotefoams will be
responsible for marketing and development in Europe, Middle East and Asia, the
company added.
