The Japanese yen weakened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.

The yen fell to a 4-day low of 113.64 against the euro, a 6-day low of 127.70 against the pound and nearly a 2-week low of 104.49 against the U.S. dollar, from yesterday's closing quotes of 113.35, 127.48 and 104.18, respectively.

The yen edged down to 105.12 against the Swiss franc, from yesterday's closing value of 104.85.

Against the Australian dollar, the yen slipped to a 5-day low of 79.62 from yesterday's closing value of 79.28.

The yen dropped to a 4-day low of 74.67 against the NZ dollar, from an early 4-day high of 74.14.

If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 117.00 against the euro 132.00 against pound, 105.00 against the greenback, 106.00 against the franc, 81.00 against the aussie and 75.00 against the kiwi.
