Yen Extends Slide Against Majors

The Japanese yen continued its early decline against the other
major currencies in early European deals on Monday.
The yen slipped to 119.78 against the greenback, its lowest
since December 10.
The yen also dropped to a 6-day low of 146.85 against the euro,
4-day low of 122.00 against the franc and near a 2-week low of
187.44 against the pound.
The yen reversed from early high of 97.08 against the aussie and
a 4-day high of 92.07 against the kiwi, sliding to 97.67 and 92.61,
respectively.
The yen hit 103.41 against the loonie for the first time since
December 11.
Continuation of the yen's downtrend may lead it to support
levels of around 121.5 against the greenback, 190.00 against the
pound, 124.00 against the franc, 148.00 against the euro, 98.8
against the aussie, 93.6 against the kiwi and 104.00 against the
loonie.
