Pages United, an online directory dedicated to connecting
businesses with the right customers, today announced a contest for
its summer 2015 Mark Smith Scholarship. The winner will receive
$1,500 toward his or her tuition.
Contestants are asked to submit a digital representation
(art/Photoshop), photo, or video that showcases creative uses for
old phone books, with an emphasis on benefiting the social good.
Creativity, humor, and originality are strongly encouraged. Phone
books must be visible in the image.

Interested parties can apply for the contest on the Yellow Pages
United blog.
Applying students should submit:
- An image or video that showcases their use of old phone books
- Images should be submitted in JPG, PNG or PDF format
- Videos should be uploaded to a video hosting site such as
YouTube or Vimeo
- A description of their idea in 500 words or less
- Link to video must be included in the idea description
Offer is open to full-time students enrolling in summer term
2015 at an accredited university or college in the U.S., with a
minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Deadline for submissions is March 31,
2015; winner will be announced on May
1, 2015.
