NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - XenoPort Inc. Tuesday reported positive
results from a Phase III clinical trial for XP13512, and said the drug was
well-tolerated.
XP13512 was developed in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline to treat
Restless Legs Syndrome.
XenoPort, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based pharmaceutical company, said the study
shows the drug can be an effective treatment for Restless Legs Syndrome.
Shares of Glaxo, a British pharmaceutical company, closed Monday at $52.75.
Shares of XenoPort closed Monday at $61.12.
