Woodhaven Health Services, a premier provider of pharmacy services for
senior healthcare facilities, announced today that it is changing its
name to Remedi SeniorCare.
The new name, and accompanying new logo, kicks off a long-term strategic
plan to position the company as a multi-regional provider of
comprehensive pharmacy services for senior care facilities and the
residents they serve.
President and CEO Michael Mahon rang in the new name and unveiled the
new logo with employees last Friday, stressing the company’s
commitment to both its customers and employees. Mahon stated that Remedi
SeniorCare will continue to provide the same exceptional level of
service its customers have come to associate with Woodhaven, with the
added benefit of a new, comprehensive suite of web-based pharmacy
management technologies called My Remedi.
“The new name more accurately reflects our
company’s unique combination of quality driven
service, hands-on account management and intelligent pharmacy
technologies,” said Mahon. “We’re
building on Woodhaven’s successful track
record to help more senior healthcare facilities achieve healthier
results for their residents. As we position our company for the future,
we must always remember our roots as an organization that delivers care
from one person to another.”
The name change occurs simultaneously with the introduction of My
Remedi, a comprehensive suite of web-based medication management tools.
My Remedi, which will begin its roll-out in June 2008, provides
facilities with an integrated “e-pharmacy”
experience that will simplify drug dispensing and documentation, as well
as provide real-time tracking of prescription drug usage and costs.
