LONDON-- Wolfson Microelectronics PLC (WLF.LN), a specialist in audio technology semiconductors, Thursday announced that it has agreed a license and component supply agreement with digital technology group Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd (SSNHY).

MAIN FACTS:

-As a result of this agreement, Wolfson expects to be a major audio component supplier for Samsung's GALAXY range of smartphones and tablets including the GALAXY S4 in 2013.

-Shares at 1128 GMT, up 15 pence, or 8.8%, at 185 pence valuing the company at GBP208 million.
