LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Energy investment company Westmount Energy Ltd
swung to a first-half pretax profit from a loss last year, mainly due to a
profit on the sale of investments.
Westmount Energy posted a pretax profit of 141,997 stg for the six months to
Dec 31 2007, compared with a loss of 91,090 stg in the year-ago period.
The company realised a profit of 289,072 stg on the disposal of investments,
compared with nil profit in 2006.
