COCONUT GROVE, Florida (Thomson Financial) - Watsco Inc, a supplier of air
conditioning and heating equipment, said it will buy rival ACR Group Inc for
6.75 usd per share.
Watsco said the offer is a 42 pct premium to the 90-day average closing
price of ACR's shares, adding it "reasonably believes" it will obtain the
necessary financing and expects to close the deal in August 2007.
ACR generated 240 mln usd sales in its most recent fiscal year, Watsco said.
