BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Warren Resources Inc. Tuesday reported
fourth-quarter net income of $4 million, or 7 cents a share, shy of the mean
estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial of 9 cents a share.
Revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31 more than doubled to $20.2
million from $9.6 million in the year-ago period. Wall Street's consensus was
for revenue of $19.3 million.
The New York-based independent energy company said its natural gas and
crude-oil production for the year rose 64% to 6.2 billion cubic feet equivalent
(cfe) from 3.8 billion cfe in 2006.
Warren shares closed at $13.71 on Monday.
