Rentech, Inc. provides clean energy solutions. The Rentech Process
transforms under-utilized domestic energy resources into valuable
and clean alternative fuels and chemicals. These energy resources
include coal, pet coke, biomass and municipal solid waste.
Rentech has nearly completed construction of its ten barrels per day
Product Demonstration Unit in Colorado. The commercial deployment of
the Rentech Process in Mississippi is expected to produce 1,600
barrels per day of synthetic fuels by 2011. This synthetic fuels
facility will have a carbon footprint that is significantly less
than petroleum-derived fuels, producing fuels that are cleaner
burning and more efficient than commercially available products.
