NEW YORK (AP) - A director of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's largest
retailer, bought 5,000 shares of stock, according to a Securities and Exchange
Commission filing Thursday.
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, James Breyer reported he bought the shares
for $50.91 to $50.99 apiece on Wednesday and Thursday.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their
companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two
business days of the transaction.
Wal-Mart is based in Bentonville, Ark.
