VOD Vodafone Group Plc

Vodafone Group PLC said on Thursday said its U.K. division will invest GBP1 billion ($1.66 billion) in networks and services this year, creating 1,400 jobs in the country as it opens 150 new shops.

"This year we'll invest more than ever before to provide our customers with the strongest network and best services in the U.K.," Vodafone U.K. Chief Executive Jeroen Hoencamp said in a statement.
