LONDON--Telecommunications giant Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN) announced Tuesday a partner market agreement with HiWEB for Iran.

Vodafone said it would assist Iranian internet service provider HiWEB in rolling out and modernizing network and IT infrastructure, and expanding fixed and mobile internet services.

Vodafone's Partner Markets team seeks strategic alliances globally to extend the company's reach into local markets.
