LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Vodafone Group Plc said its first quarter group
revenue was boosted by growth in emerging markets, offsetting weakness in Spain,
however it now sees full-year revenue at the bottom of its outlook range based
on economic weakness and lower-than-expected equipment revenue.
The mobile operator said its revenue for the quarter ending June 20
increased by 19.1 percent, or 1.7 percent on an organic basis, to 9.8 billion
pounds.
