Closed period notification
Information disclosed in accordance with MAR Article 19,
paragraph 11.
In accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation, VinaCapital
Vietnam Opportunity Fund Ltd (‘VOF’, the ‘Company’) today
announces that the Company is entering a closed period, which will
remain in place until the Company releases its fiscal year end
results for the year ended 30 June
2017.
Pursuant to the share buyback authority granted to the Company's
Board of Directors on 25 October
2011, the Company has appointed Numis Securities Limited to
manage an irrevocable, non-discretionary share buy-back programme
until the date on which the Company's full year results are
notified, which is expected to be by the end of October 2017. During this period the Company and
its directors have no power to invoke any changes to the programme
and it is being done at the sole discretion of Numis Securities
Limited.
