PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) - Varian Medical Systems, a manufacturer of medical
devices and software, said Wednesday it signed a $320 million contract to supply
Toshiba with medical imaging subcomponents.
The three-year contract will extend a 30-year relationship with Toshiba
Medical Systems, Robert Kluge, Varian's senior vice president, said in a
statement.
Toshiba will integrate the parts it purchases from Varian into diagnostic
