MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Valspar Corporation (NYSE:VAL) announced today that, at its December 12, 2007 meeting, the Company's Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share, payable January 14, 2008 to all common stockholders of record on December 31, 2007. This 14 cent dividend represents a 1 cent, or approximately 7.7 percent, increase over the dividend in effect for the past four quarters.
