FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Volkswagen AG. and MAN AG. are examining the
possibility of building a plant that will make truck components in Brazil,
according to WirtschatsWoche weekly magazine, citing VW supervisory board
sources.
The facility could, among other things, produce engines and axles for use in
VW trucks being made in Resende, Brazil.
Also being examined is building a truck factory for MAN in Brazil.
A spokesman for MAN declined comment to the magazine.
