SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - VF Corp. has acquired one-third of the
capital stock of privately held Mo Industries, the companies said Wednesday.
Los Angeles-based Mo Industries owns the Splendid and Ella Moss women's
contemporary sportswear brands.
The deal gives VF, a Greensboro, N.C.-based apparel company, the option of
purchasing the balance of capital stock in early 2009.
Shares of VF were up 3 cents at $74.21.
