LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Urban Outfitters said Thursday fourth quarter
net income rose to $53.6 million, or 32 cents a share from $35.7 million, or 21
cents a share in the same quarter a year ago.
The apparel and home furnishings retailer said sales rose to $465.4 million
from $360.8 million a year ago.
Same-store sales in the quarter rose 11% from a year ago.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial was for earnings
of 29 cents a share on revenue of $463.6 million.
