LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Urban Outfitters Inc. said Thursday
first-quarter net income from operations rose 75% to $62.9 million, or 25 cents
a share, ahead of a Thomson Reuters mean estimate for earnings to come in at 23
cents.
The company, which operates under the Anthropology, Free People and Urban
Outfitters brands, said revenue for the three-month period rose 25% to $394.3
million, as previously announced in a statement released May 8, compared with a
Thomson Reuters mean estimate of $392.2 million.
