LONDON (Thomson Financial) - UraMin Inc and Northwestern Mineral Ventures
Inc said that they have begun phase 1 drilling at the Irhazer and In Gall
concessions in Niger, through their joint venture.
The programme, which is targeting three drill sites, will seek an extension
of the Irhazer and In Gall concessions.
These have so far returned high-grade uranium values of up to 1.0 pct
Uranium3O8 from rock chip samples, according to Marek Kreczmer, CEO of
Northwestern and the joint venture company.
