MIAMI, Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Carnival
Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world's
largest travel and leisure company, today announced it is
supporting October's National Plan a Cruise Month with savings,
onboard credits and cruise giveaways. The company's Carnival Cruise
Line, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises
and Seabourn are participating in the month-long campaign,
organized by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA),
offering consumers special deals and incentives – and free cruises
– to highlight why planning a cruise is a smart vacation
decision.
"People who have been on cruise vacations with one of our brands
have a great time at a great value and cannot wait to go on another
cruise," said Arnold Donald, CEO of
Carnival Corporation. "During National Plan a Cruise Month, we are
joining with CLIA to spread the word and convince people to
consider planning a cruise vacation – and we are offering great
deals and promotions to help make the decision even more
compelling. Collectively, our fleet of 100 ships visits 720 ports
of call around the world and offers our guests five-star service
and dining, great entertainment, casino-style gambling, the sheer
joy of sailing in the middle of the ocean and the excitement of
visiting several destinations and much more – all with the
convenience of only having to unpack one time. It is truly a
phenomenal way to take a vacation, and we are hopeful people take
advantage of our great offers and discover why cruising is the
number one way to relax, recharge and have fun on vacation."
As part of National Plan a Cruise Month, Holland America
Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard, Princess Cruises and Seabourn
are giving away cruise vacations for two through CLIA's

photo by visiting the #CruiseSmile microsite — www.cruisesmile.org
