LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Universe Group PLC said its chairman, chief
executive and certain employees bought a collective 615,000 shares at a price of
6.5 pence.
Chairman John Scholes bought 250,000 shares raising his holding in the
company to 0.82 pct, while chief executive Paul Cooper bought 25,000 shares,
lifting his stake to 0.21 pct.
Universe Group said Darren Graham and Charles Goulding bought 30,000 shares
each and now hold 0.03 pct in the company.
Also, Jeffrey Dakin bought 30,000 shares to raise his stake to 0.03 pct in
the company and non-executive Director Malcolm Coster bought 250,000 shares
raising his holding to 0.44 pct.
