SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Universal Display Corp. late Thursday
said its net loss narrowed to $3.27 million, or 9 cents a share, from $4.41
million, or 14 cents a share, in the year-earlier quarter.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial was for a
per-share loss of 7 cents.
Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose to $2.9 million from $2.54
million the prior-year period, versus the mean Street view of $4 million.
Shares of the Ewing, N.J.-based provider of organic light-emitting diode, or
OLED, technologies and materials closed the regular session up 45 cents at
$16.80.
