Soft-ex Communications, Ltd., has been awarded inclusion for
provisioning of Specialist Cloud Services in the latest G-Cloud 6
procurement agreement of the UK Government. This is the second
Framework Agreement awarded to Soft-ex under the G-Cloud
initiative.
Under the G-Cloud 6 Framework Agreement, Soft-ex will deliver
its advanced Online Bill Presentment & Analytics solution,
which can provide centralised telecom intelligence to the
United Kingdom's Cabinet Office
and central Government Organisations, and visibility to individual
local government departments/offices of their telecom usage and
spend for fixed, mobile, and data, enabling improved control,
efficiencies, and cost savings.
The G-Cloud framework now has total sales of £516m, up from
£129m in February 2014. Managed by
the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), G-Cloud is a UK Government
initiative designed to support the acquisition of cloud software
and services by the public sector. G-Cloud 6 includes solutions
from specialist suppliers such as Soft-ex, who have been selected
to encourage the adoption of Cloud Services and deliver innovative
services across a digital marketplace.
