BEND, Ore., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Umpqua Bank, a subsidiary of Umpqua Holdings Corporation, (NASDAQ:UMPQ), has hired two associates to join its Central Oregon commercial banking team.

Diane Harrild has been named vice president and commercial deposit relationship manager. Both associates will work out of the Osprey Point office in Bend.

Harrild, a resident of Bend, is currently involved with several area philanthropic organizations and projects, such as Volunteers in Medicine, Central Oregon Arts and Cultural Center, and the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.
Chick comes to Umpqua from Columbia River Bank. She has 28 years of experience in the banking industry and has served the Central Oregon community since 1981. Her most recent title was vice president, commercial loans. Chick is currently involved with several Bend area organizations, such as Opportunity Knocks, the Bend Chamber of Commerce, Campfire U.S.A., the St. Charles Ambassador's Circle, and the Network of Entrepreneurial Women.
