LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Ultrasis Plc. said it has launched a private
retail version of its Beating the Blues anti-depression product that will
combine on-line therapy with 24/7 telephonic support.
The new service will meet a growing demand for confidential and immediate
access to treatment for mild and moderate depression, the company said.
Beating the Blues, a web-based treatment programme for depression based on
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, is already available through the NHS.
The company said the initial price of Beating the Blues Connect, which
includes 16 weeks telephonic support and one year's access to Beating the Blues,
will be 325 pounds.
