LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Ultrasis Plc. posted a narrower first-half
pretax loss, benefiting from a 50 percent rise in sales, and said it has the
potential "for strong, profitable growth based on a robust renewable income
stream".
The provider of interactive healthcare products reported a pretax loss of
200,000 pounds for the six months to Jan 31, 2008, compared with a 297,000 pound
loss a year earlier, while revenue rose to 1.04 million pounds from 692,000
pounds.
It also reported a maiden operating profit before charges for share-based
payments of 74,000 pounds, with share-based payments falling to 209,000 pounds
from 306,000 pounds.
