LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Software and merchandising company Ultima
Networks Plc. said it has re-entered the Photovoltaics ('PV') market through a
distribution agreement for innovative solar energy products with Silicon CPV
Plc. ('SCPV'), a division of the Ahkter Group Plc.
The company said the value of the deal and the impact on Ultima is as yet
uncertain due to the early stage of the relationship. However, the group added
it is confident that the prospects are good.
SCPV's chairman Anthony Palmer said: "The tie-up of SCPV and Ultima will
allow SCPV to focus on research and development whilst Ultima concentrates on
the distribution of both our existing products and new products as they become
available."
