LONDON (Thomson Financial) - UTEK Corp said it has transferred a technology
containing wireless sensors for on-site analysis to MachineTalker Inc, which
develops smart security networks, in a stock-for-stock deal.
The technology transferred includes a worldwide exclusive licence to an
environmental sensor developed by researchers at the University of South
Florida.
As part of the deal, MachineTalker bought Micro Wireless Technologies Inc, a
company established for this transaction, by issuing 46.5 mln of its
unregistered shares to UTEK.
