PITTSBURGH (AP) - United States Steel Corp. announced Wednesday the
appointment of four executives who will control the Pittsburgh-based
steelmaker's strategic planning and accounting organizations.
Larry Schultz has been promoted from vice president and controller to senior
vice president and controller. He will report to executive vice president and
Chief Financial Officer Gretchen Haggerty.
George Zovko has been appointed vice president for accounting, and will
report to Schultz.
J. James Kutka Jr. is the company's new senior vice president of strategic
planning and business development. He'll report to chairman and chief executive
officer John Surma.
Joseph Scherrbaum Jr. was named to replace Kutka as vice president of sales
and customer service.
