US Refinery Status: BP Restarts Ultracracker At Texas City

DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

The following table lists unplanned and planned production outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.

BP PlC (BP) reported that an ultracracker at its Texas City, Texas refinery will restart Tuesday, according to an environmental filing.

Alon USA Energy (ALJ) Inc. said Wednesday that it will begin the turnaround for its Krotz Springs, La., refinery in November 2009 instead of the first quarter of 2010.

A power outage Wednesday in the Utah caused refineries there including Holly Corp.'s (HOC) Wood Cross facility and Flying J's Salt Lake City plant to briefly shutdown and then restart.
