The Department of Commerce is investigating China's ZTE Corp. for alleged sales of embargoed U.S. computer products to Iran, Reuters reported Friday. The probe involves alleged shipments by ZTE of millions of dollars worth of hardware and software from U.S. tech firms to Iran's largest telecom carrier Telecommunication Co. of Iran. A Commerce Department official confirmed the probe. A spokesman for Shenzhen-based ZTE declined comment to Reuters.
