US Dollar Advances Further Against Major Rivals

During New York afternoon trading on Thursday, the US currency advanced further against major currencies. The greenback is presently trading near fresh multi-day highs of 1.2560 against the euro, 1.5608 versus the pound, 0.9564 against the franc, 1.0271 versus the Canadian dollar, 1.0070 against the Australian dollar and 0.7906 versus the NZ dollar, compared to Wednesday's closing values of 1.2708, 1.5719, 0.9454, 1.0183, 1.0196 and 0.7964, respectively.
