Limited edition express envelope recognizes
150 Canadian drivers in elite 'Circle of Honour'

- UPS (NYSE:UPS) Leading up to Canada 150, UPS Canada is revealing a limited
edition express envelope featuring images of Canadian Circle of
Honour members. For those consumers and businesses who ship using
UPS Express® service, 360,000 limited edition
envelopes will be available. There are 150 Circle of Honour
inductees, an elite group of UPS drivers who have achieved 25 years
without an at-fault accident.

celebrate this country's accomplishments and diversity. This
milestone is representative of the strength, success and resilience
of our Canadian communities," says Christoph Atz, president, UPS Canada. "UPS has a
commitment to our customers and the communities in which we live
and serve. The Circle of Honour acknowledges those UPSers who go
above and beyond to keep the streets safer for those around
them."
On March 31, John De Villers was inducted as the 150th Circle
of Honour driver in Canada. MP for
the riding of Brossard –
Saint-Lambert, Alexandra Mendès,
helped celebrate the event. De Villers joined the company in 1990
and has been a driver for 27 years. De Villers began his career in
Montréal and worked there until 1997 when he moved to the new
facility in Brossard.
On behalf of De Villers' milestone, UPS Canada presented a
$1,000 grant to L'Antre-Temps
Longueuil, a charity chosen for his personal connection to the
organization. L'Antre-Temps Longueuil started operations in 1985
and provides support to homeless youth and troubled teens.
UPS Canada also unveiled a
birthday card to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. De Villers was the
first employee to sign the card which is being circulated to UPS
facilities across the country. Once the journey is complete, the
card will have approximately 200 employee signatures and will be
delivered to Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport,
Karen McCrimmon, during the
Canada Day celebrations at the Kanata
Recreation Complex on July
1st.
UPS Canada drivers are among
the safest on the roads, with less than six auto incidents for
every 100,000 hours worked in 2016. Globally, more than 9,300 UPS
drivers are members of the Circle of Honour. Collectively, these
drivers have logged more than 22.5 billion kilometers and more than
266,554 years of safe driving through their careers.
