LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Shares in Renewable Power and Light went up 3/4
of a penny to 14-1/4 following the successful completion of a Commercial
Performance Test at its 65 MW Elmwood Park power facility in New Jersey.
Thor Mining edged up 1/4 to 4-3/4 as Western Desert Resources, an
exploration company operating in Australia, acquired a 16.7 percent stake.
Meanwhile, Thor has beefed up its board, which it believes will assist in
advancing the development of its 100 percent-owned Molyhil Tungsten Molybdenum
Project in the Northern Territory.
Also on the upside, Imagination Technologies climbed 4 to 74-3/4 following
the signing of a licence agreement with Samsung Electronics, while Bermuda-based
property company Lancashire Holdings advanced 14-1/2 to 299 on the back of
first-quarter results.
