LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Network Technology made headway, rising 3-1/2
pence to 47-1/2 as traders responded to news of a strategic alliance with
Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc to provide software for Toshiba's
accounting products.
And BGlobal nudged up 2 to 40-1/2 as the smart metering and energy data
services company won a contract to deliver meter and data services to Opus
Energy. The 3 mln stg deal will see Opus Energy continue to fulfil its
commitment to become the first energy company in the UK to offer smart meters
free to all its customers.
Elsewhere, Minco hardened 1/4 to 6 as the latest results from two holes at
the Pallas Green project, a joint venture with Xstrata Zinc in Ireland,
continues to expand the area of mineralization.
The precious and base metals exploration and development company said the
results of Hole MN-2529-027 and MN-2529-028 confirm the high grade potential of
portions of the Tobermalug prospect.
