LONDON (Thomson Financial) - LED International ticked up 1/4 of a penny to 2
following news that the company has won a 1.47 million pound contract from Hong
Kong-based Super Winner Development to supply a giant 790 square metres LED
display screen.
Again on the upside, Intelek chalked up a gain of 3-1/2, at 18-1/2, after
the manufacturer of electronic systems for satellite and microwave
communications said it expects to report full-year underlying profit comfortably
ahead of market expectations following continued strong trading during the
period.
ACM Shipping also benefited from an upbeat trading statement, rising 21 to
226 in response to the international tanker broker's expectation that full-year
results to be significantly ahead of market estimates.
