LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Sellers were about in i-design Group, 5-1/2
pence down at 41 pence, as the provider of ATM advertising solution, turned in
widening half-year losses. The company is positive about its long-term
prospects, but the impact of rescheduling the deployment of its ATM advertising
solution for one customer will affect results short term.
Also on the downside, International Brand Licensing dipped 1-1/4 pence to
10-1/4 pence as news of a 40 percent decline in full-year turnover took the
shine off a near 6 percent increase in pretax profits to 615,000 pounds.
The fall in revenue to 1.86 million pounds from 3.08 million pounds was due
to a decline in Admiral England cricket replica sales.
Bramlin softened a penny to 15-1/2 pence after the Guernsey-based oil and
gas company notched up full-year losses against profits in the previous eight
months, while shares in Blue Oar, the corporate finance and broking business,
eased 3/4 of a penny to 12-3/4 pence in response to mixed comment in The Sunday
Telegraph.
