LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Goshawk Insurance made solid progress, climbing
1.43 pence to 4.93 pence in response to the agreed 45.7 million pounds, or 5.2
pence a share, cash bid from Enstar Group Ltd. unit Enstar Acquisitions.
Elsewhere, Murchison United NL advanced 1.125 pence to 9.125 pence as
trading in its shares was halted on the Australian Stock Exchange pending an
announcement concerning a strategic alliance.
Still on the up, Irvine Energy ticked up 0.225 of a penny to 3.80 pence
following news that the company's third Rock 3D well, Rock 1-32, has encountered
hydrocarbons in the Arbuckle formation in Kansas.
Meanwhile, the AIM-listed oil and gas explorer and producer has agreed with
joint venture partner Metro Energy Group to add a fifth well, Ayers 1-20, to its
current drilling programme.
And shares in Ultrasis edged up 0.05 of a penny to 1.025 pence as the
provider of interactive healthcare and associated services won a contract with
Innohealth BV for Ultrasis' flagship product, Beating the Blues, for the
treatment of anxiety and depression.
