LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Alizyme was under pressure, dropping 26 percent
-- or 4 pence to 11-1/2 pence -- following news that the company's drug
COLAL-PRED for moderate to severe ulcerative colitis failed to meet a primary
endpoint in a phase III trial.
And Tangent Communications dipped 3/4 of a penny to 4-1/2 pence as the
company forecast a small increase in group revenue and profits. Strong growth
was achieved in the on-line business (like-for-like revenue up 88 percent) and
from local level marketing services (like-for-like revenue up 50 percent).
However, revenue from estate agent particulars fell by 22 percent in the
first four months.
