LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Accident Exchange Group notched up a gain of
4-3/4 pence, at 61, after the vehicle replacement said it sees full-year results
in line with market expectations. Moreover, it expects the increasing trend of
cash collection witnessed during the eight week period to May 12 to continue.
For the eight week period to May 12, the company's daily average cash
receipts improved to 642,000 pounds per day from 588,000 pounds per day over the
seven week period to March 17.
Elsewhere, Globo edged up 1-1/4 to 13-1/4 after the company signed a 3.9
million euros contract with the Greek Ministry of National Education & Religious
Affairs to digitalise around 15 million pages of books, magazines and
newspapers, in 46 public libraries throughout Greece.
