NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - U.S. Home Systems Inc. Monday said it had
agreed to extend its service provider agreement with Home Depot until Feb. 28,
2011.
Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
U.S. Home Systems also said it would phase out the sale and installation of
its wood deck products in all Home Depot markets. In addition, the sale of all
deck products would be ceased immediately in the Midwest, Boston, Connecticut,
Virginia Beach and Atlanta markets, the company said.
Shares of U.S. Home Systems, a Dallas-based manufacturer of home improvement
products, closed Friday at $4.49.
Shares of Home Depot, a Dow component, closed Friday at $26.55.
